We are looking for the right person to support in managing our busy and vibrant bistro, preparing, and managing meals for staff members at lunchtime as well as running the Academy Café which is open to parents and families from 3pm every school day.Hours of work are 8.30am to 5.45pm with a 30-minute break. You will be employed for 40 weeks per year, which includes our 5 non-pupil days. This position is 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.During the morning, you will prepare for lunchtime service which will include collating staff food orders and, alongside the Chef, ensuring meals are ready for the lunchtime period. You must be good at baking cakes and other treats as this will form a significant part of your role. At lunchtime you will serve staff their meals and drinks which will include a mixture of pre-ordered and instant order. At 3pm you will oversee the opening of the café, which serves hot and cold drinks, snacks, cakes, and full meals. The role will also include general waiting duties such as clearing tables. Fixed Term 12 MonthsWe are excited to announce a maternity cover opportunity for a Senior Service Support Officer within our countywide Business Support Team based in the Family Time Service team.You will work alongside 3 other Business Support Team members.You will support the Family Time Service directly as well as supporting colleagues in our wider services across the county, with a flexible and hybrid working environment.In this role, you will play a key part in the collation and creation of new data sets, and support staff with internal systems. You will link with the manager of the service regularly ensuring a high level of collaborative working is maintained.Your proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint will be essential. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, communicates effectively, and can meet tight deadlines. You will need to work well both independently and as part of a team.This role would be well suited to someone who looks for variety and challenge in their day to day working and can take the initiative to find creative solutions.
