Amigos Worldwide is an international development charity with 26 years of experience working alongside communities in rural Uganda, through vocational training, family sponsorship and community development. We’re now opening a tool refurbishment hub in Exeter, in partnership with Tools with a Mission, where donated tools will be cleaned, repaired and sold, or shipped to equip our training programmes in Uganda.
As our first Tool Hub Manager, you’ll set up and run the hub: recruiting and looking after volunteers, building relationships with donors, businesses and community groups, and keeping the workshop and shop running smoothly. No formal practical experience is needed. We’re looking for someone well organised, good with people, happy to juggle a varied workload and work independently, from any background where you’ve managed projects or people. Enthusiasm for our mission is essential, and you’ll need a driving licence. Enhanced DBS check required.
