This is a great opportunity to join our highly skilled and dedicated team. Our school vision statement of ‘Being the best we can be for ourselves, for others and for God's world’ is woven through all aspects of school life, where opportunities for children are maximised, staff wellbeing is prioritised and nurturing relationships provide a safe space within which to learn and grow.
We want to appoint staff who share our Christian ethos, are passionate about learning and understand the importance that relationships play in creating a safe, secure and inspirational learning environment.
This role is to support individuals and small groups of children to learn and provide general support to the teacher leading learning in the classroom. Experience of supporting children with additional needs would be desirable, as would experience of working with children in the Early Years as one of the posts would be based in our EYFS unit.
Our TAs are also required to take on half an hour’s mealtime assistant duties each day as we believe it is good to have adults who know the children well supporting them to have safe and happy lunchtimes.
Visits to the school are encouraged and can be arranged by contacting our school office via admin@stmartinscranbrook.devon.sch.uk.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This role requires a DBS disclosure.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
Online searches may be done as part of pre-recruitment checks.
