We are looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant with the right attitude, energy and care for children.
Experience is welcome, but it is not the most important thing. We can provide training. What we cannot train as easily is kindness, initiative, reliability and a positive mindset.
We are looking for someone who:
- Wants to work with children and help them succeed.
- Is prepared to learn, listen and act on feedback.
- Works hard and gets stuck in.
- Is professional with staff, children and families.
- Can use initiative and good judgement.
- Notices what needs doing and is willing to step in.
- Brings a positive approach, even on busy days.
Teaching Assistants are central to school life. They support learning, build confidence, spot the small things, and help children feel safe, understood and able to succeed.
This post would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, someone new to working in schools, or someone thinking about a future career in teaching.
