Pathfield School is a vibrant and inclusive special school in Barnstaple, North Devon, dedicated to providing a person-centred education for students with profound or severe learning difficulties and those on the autistic spectrum. We foster a supportive environment where staff, students, and families work together to ensure every pupil reaches their full potential
Due to the setting up of a new class we are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for designing and delivering personalised learning programmes for students with diverse needs, collaborating with parents and external agencies, and contributing to our dynamic curriculum.
You will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- To be a resilient practitioner with the ability to meet challenges with patience and empathy.
- Flexibility and creativity in adapting teaching methods.
- Strong organisational skills for lesson planning and collaboration.

This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
