An opportunity is being advertised to join the Transport Planning team as a Senior Transport Planning Officer.
With recently confirmed multi-year funding settlements and a newly adopted Local Transport Plan creating an ambitious programme of capital and revenue transport projects across the county, this is an exciting time to join the Transport Planning team in a senior role. You will play a leading role in developing and delivering a wide range of transport projects, spanning flagship active travel schemes, major highways infrastructure projects and county-wide public transport interventions. Your role will involve working dynamically with internal and external partners to deliver our programme of work, responding to emerging Local Plans, and liaising with Councillors, stakeholders and the public. You will be a proven team player and confident in supporting the development of the wider Transport Planning team.
The post will be full time and will be based at County Hall in Exeter, with flexible working and the potential for a proportion of homeworking during the working week.
