Redwood River School is looking for a Primary Teacher to join our wonderful independent SEN school. Our new school is based at the Old Postern, a breathtakingly beautiful medieval building steeped in history and surrounded by the tranquil natural beauty of the South Devon countryside.

As a Primary Teacher, you’ll deliver a broad, balanced and responsive curriculum that meets every student where they are. You’ll be a key part of a nurturing, creative and highly reflective team, using your skills to unlock each learner’s potential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering inclusive and engaging lessons
- Promoting strong progress across the curriculum
- Leading subject development and assessment in a key area of the curriculum
- Supporting LSAs and collaborating with therapy and pastoral teams
- Developing holistic learning experiences rooted in relational and trauma-informed practice
- Using a range of strategies to meet the communication, sensory, social and emotional needs of students

What We’re Looking For
- QTS
- Experience working with students with SEND, particularly ASC, PDA and SEMH
- A reflective, resilient and relational approach to teaching
- Ability to work collaboratively across a multi-disciplinary team
- High expectations and a belief in the potential of every learner
