We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic staff to enable us to reopen our weekly youth club for children aged 7–end of Year 6. The Club runs on a Friday evening in term time.
Senior Play Worker – The Base Youth Club
We’re recruiting a motivated Senior Play Worker to lead The Base Youth Club and support our youth work team.
6 hours per week - including Friday evenings from 5.00pm - 9.00pm.
£16 per hour.
You’ll plan sessions, lead activities, manage staff/volunteers, oversee safeguarding and admin, and help shape an inspiring environment for young people.
Ideally, you will have a Level 3 qualification in youth/play work + experience delivering youth programmes.
Desirable: Creative skills (arts, cooking, outdoor ed), partnership working experience.
Essential: Previously worked with children/young people. Great communication, safeguarding awareness, and a positive, flexible attitude. This role requires an enhanced DBS disclosure.
Play Worker x2 – The Base Youth Club
3.5 hours per week (40 weeks/year, termtime only). Friday evenings 5.30pm - 9.00pm.
£13 per hour.
You’ll support activities, help run sessions, and create a safe, fun space for local young people. Ideal for someone passionate about youth work and the community.
Desirable: Experience working with children.
Essential: Great communication, safeguarding awareness, and a positive, flexible attitude, This role requires an enhanced DBS disclosure.
