- North Devon, Devon, Torridge
- Full Time
- Main Teachers’ Pay Scale

Required for September 2026
We have an opportunity for a Class Teacher to join The Clinton Church of England school at an exciting moment in the school’s journey. The school is currently part of the Alumnis Multi Academy Trust; however, the school will be transferring to the Learning Academy Partnership in 2026.
Nestled within the North Devon countryside, The Clinton is a small village school with a strong sense of community; we value the strong relationships we have with our families and work in partnership to support our children to flourish. Just a 25-minute drive from Okehampton, we make the most of our rural location and our incredible outdoors spaces such as our wild garden where a wealth of natural resources makes learning fun and awe-inspiring.
At The Clinton, we pride ourselves on providing every child with a rich and engaging curriculum grounded in our Christian values. Our vision is:
‘Together we nurture, love and learn whilst inspiring changemakers’
We believe that every child should be taught by expert, high quality teachers in an inspirational school that always puts children first. We believe that education is about more than lessons in a classroom - it’s about sparking curiosity, building confidence, and giving every child the best possible start in life.
We are looking for an experienced Class Teacher to join our incredible team who can nurture and inspire our children, foster a love of learning, and make a profound difference to their lives. The Clinton will be transferring to the Learning Academy Partnership, and we are excited by the opportunities this will bring. By working collectively as a family of schools with a shared responsibility for all children, we empower each other to deliver an exceptional curriculum offer that is fully rooted in our Christian values. This is a great opportunity to also be part of a wider team of teachers who develop practice and share expertise for the benefit of all children.
We value the diversity of skills and perspectives that every teacher brings and are committed to supporting a healthy life balance for all our colleagues. We’re happy to explore flexible working arrangements and discuss what that might look like for you.
At the Learning Academy Partnership, our School Trust is underpinned by our four core beliefs; we are stronger together, a sense of belonging; removing barriers and realising the possible. This means that by working collectively, we can achieve our absolute best to ensure that children, especially the most vulnerable, can flourish. Our ethos is one of working together to Empower, Excel, Together.
What we can offer you:
- Make a real difference – every day you’ll have the chance to make a profound difference to children’s lives.
- Be part of something bigger – you will be part of a values-led School Trust where we collaborate, innovate, and succeed together.
