Economic Development Assistant – Connect To Work
About the Role
Strengthening Devon's economy is a key priority for Devon County Council. This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Connect To Work Programme Team within the
Performance and Partnerships directorate. The role will be to support the project coordination and monitoring project performance. The role will involve using databases and reports to evaluate progress and support delivery partners to achieve the programme outcomes.
A key part of the role will also be to promote the impact of the programme through coordination communications and marketing for instance, creating communications across digital, print and social media channels. The post holder will organise events, workshops, conferences and stakeholder meetings.
About You
- Experience of communications and marketing activity, including digital and social media channels.
- Experience coordinating and delivering projects, activities or initiatives.
- Excellent writing and report-writing skills.
- Strong teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office applications and Management Information systems
The successful candidate will be adaptable, flexible in prioritising work and willing to embrace a forward-thinking and dynamic team environment.
