We’re on the lookout for two passionate and experienced Advanced Social Workers to join our dynamic Community Team in beautiful West Devon. Whether you're looking for a permanent role or a 12-month fixed-term opportunity, this is your chance to step into a leadership role where your expertise truly matters.
What you'll be doing
Based at The Byre, Yealmpton, with hybrid working options (minimum 3 days in-office), you’ll work with individuals aged 17 and above, supporting their journey from transition to older adulthood.
As an Advanced Social Worker, you’ll:
- Deputise for the Team Manager
- Chair safeguarding meetings
- Supervise and mentor colleagues
- Hold a small but complex caseload
- Offer expert advice and guidance to the team, demonstrating strong legal literacy and a thorough understanding of statutory duties and social work legislation.

- A qualified and registered Social Worker with experience in adult social care
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Confidence in managing complex cases and safeguarding processes
