Honiton Primary School is a large friendly school with happy, polite, engaged children who enjoy learning and being part of our Rights Respecting ethos.
We are looking for an excellent class teacher to join our hard-working and friendly team covering two maternity leaves in the same class (Year 3) from 25 February 2019 until the end of the summer term 2019. One maternity leave (0.4 FTE) is due to finish at the end of the summer term 2019, and the other maternity leave (0.6 FTE) is due to end on 20 February 2020. Although the maternity cover is in a Year 3 class for the remainder of this academic year, you will join our general pool of teaching staff come September if the maternity cover continues, and may be required to continue in either KS1 or KS2 in the future.
You will be welcomed into our school and will benefit from being part of an innovative, creative teaching team. At Honiton Primary School, our teachers work closely together, frequently share teaching ideas and strategies and support each other in order to achieve the highest of standards. We understand the demands of teaching, provide all teachers with quality support and professional development, and seek to ensure that every teacher enjoys teaching and is excited about developing their career in education.
So, if you would like to be well supported and encouraged to continue to develop your skills as a teacher, then please apply. We look forward to hearing from you and to finding out from you how you make learning special for the children in your class.
Visits to our school are welcomed at 9.30am or 1.30pm on 16 January 2019. To book a place, please contact our friendly office staff on 01404 548700.
An application form and further details can be downloaded from www.honitonprimary.co.uk or requested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please apply by noon on the closing date.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
