We are excited to look for an excellent teacher and leader to join our dedicated staff at Bishopsteignton Primary School, a growing community school in the heart of our village, from January 2020.

You will lead our KS1 team of two classes, be part of the SLT and have at least 0.1 leadership time out of class per week. You will lead a core subject across the school which will initially be maths but can be discussed considering your skill set when looking towards the future.

The responsibilities of the role, as outlined in the job description, means that we will be paying on the upper pay scale, but would welcome applications from all teachers who feel they have the appropriate skills and experience.

Our whole school team play an important role in reflecting on practice, driving change and celebrating what we do every day!

We are looking for an experienced, confident and creative practitioner to complement our team who has a real passion for learning and teaching and a commitment to continually seek the very best outcomes for children.

You will also have the ability to build strong relationships to enable you to lead, coach and develop other staff members with an enthusiastic, motivating and inspiring approach.

You will be driven to contribute to our constant review of our practices to ensure that staff can focus on what matters: providing rich experiences which help our children to thrive and be the best they can be!

You will be committed to relentlessly promoting our school’s values - Curiosity, Resilience, Collaboration, Self Belief, High Expectations and Empathy.

In return, we are able to offer a collaborative and supportive team, fantastic pupils and the chance to be part of our Community of Learning.

Visits to the school are highly recommended and can be arranged by contacting the school office. The provisional date for visits is 24 September 2019 at 10am and 4pm.

An application form and further details can be obtained by emailing admin@bishopschool.co.uk.
Please apply by 9am on the closing date.
