The North Devon Link (Mental Health) Service is seeking to appoint a mental health support worker to join our Bideford team, based at the Torridgeside Link Centre. Working in the Recovery model, you will provide practical and emotional support to clients with a variety of mental health difficulties, giving problem solving advice and signposting to other professionals and agencies where necessary. We work with our clients to develop life and social skills which increase confidence and foster independency. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible approach as no two days are the same. As we provide support both within our day centre and in the community, some lone working is required.
This is a maternity leave cover position. Please be aware that the contract will come to an end when the permanent staff member wishes to return to work.
