We are currently recruiting new Carers to join both our Fostering and Family Breaks service supporting vulnerable children. If you have a spare room and like being around children and young people, then we want to talk to you.
Our Fostering Service
We urgently need more carers to provide therapeutic placements for children in care where they can feel safe and stable. Often children in care have suffered severe abuse & neglect and have complex needs. With excellent training and 24 hour support from our dedicated teams, our foster carers offer homes where these children can heal, develop and thrive. We have one of the highest rates of placement stability helping us to get the best outcomes for children in care.
As part of the team, you will receive:
- £420 per week including allowances and tax benefits;
- 24 hour support, continuous training and development;
- Paid planned breaks (14 days);
- Additional benefit.
Our Family Breaks Service
We urgently need more carers to provide short breaks for children with a disability or complex need on holidays and weekends. While the child is having fun, it’s a chance for the parents and carers to rest and spend time with their partners and other children, strengthening their family. These short breaks are so important for families and can often be a preventative measure for children going into residential care.
By being part of the team, you will receive:
- 24/7 support and advice;
- Excellent training in fostering, managing disability and children’s health needs;
- £80 per night.
You need to:
- Have a spare room;
- Have experience of supporting children or young people;
- Care about children and want to make a positive difference to their lives.
