Required to start 1st September 2019.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced school leader with an exemplary teaching record to take on the Headship of our vibrant and innovative primary school. This is an exciting position which will provide an opportunity for a dynamic, forward thinking practitioner to put their skills into practice and contribute to the future development of our friendly village school.

Beaford Primary is an outstanding rural school, where emphasis is placed on supporting the whole child through every aspect of development. Our pupils, staff, parents and governors are keen to find a Headteacher who will recognise the strengths and values of the school and will build on these, thus ensuring that it continues to be a wonderful place to live and learn.

The successful candidate will be an inclusive practitioner with a passion for school improvement and the confidence to build on the rich curriculum provision already in place. The post will include a 0.4FTE teaching commitment. An understanding of principles of effective practice, good communication skills, an ability to inspire others and a passion for improving educational provision for children, are all essential requirements for this post.

Visits to the school are welcome and encouraged. Please call the school office on 01805 603263 to arrange an appointment.

An application form can be requested by contacting Jennifer Cartledge at Babcock LDP on 01392 287221 or emailing LDP-AdminHeadships@babcockinternational.com
