The Governing Body of Princetown Community Primary School are seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Head of School to start from 1st September 2019. We are looking for someone with the enthusiasm, vision, empathy and dedication to lead a forward thinking and dynamic school. The successful applicant will be ambitious for the school, high-performing and able to demonstrate consistency and resilience. They will build on the school’s current position and be determined to make their own mark to achieve the next level of success.
The Head of School has full autonomy to lead the operational development of the school coupled with the support and encouragement of the Executive Head Teacher.
Princetown Community Primary School is a small rural school with 38 children on roll currently. The school is situated in the centre of the village of Princetown on Dartmoor, Devon. The school has strong links with the local pre-school.
The school is a well organised and caring setting where the members of staff form a dedicated, hard-working team. Our staff team is our greatest resource and the continuous professional development of all staff is a priority.
