Are you enthusiastic about cooking and ready for the challenge of being a Catering Manager within a school environment? Then this is an exciting opportunity for you to come and work with our friendly, hard-working staff.
Our new catering manager should be an experienced cook, who can combine excellent cooking skills with motivational management, to help us develop our provision and increase our uptake of school meals, potentially over two sites.
We are looking for someone who can:
Organise all catering duties, including preparing food, portion control and the provision of special dietary meals, maintain budgets, sales, overhead costs and daily accounts. Supervise, direct, develop and recruit staff including induction, mentoring and training; plan menus to ensure best value for money; manage quality and stock control, ensure all regulations are adhered to.
