Barley Lane needs an experienced and highly competent and innovative business manager to support and challenge us to make the best possible use of our resources both people and financial: its is also essential the successful candidate understands and is wholly in step with our core values of hard-work humility and kindness.

The school is a dynamic and growing community that needs a flexible and creative individual who is not only skilled in matters of finance and HR but good with people: all and every kind of people and we include our diverse, complex and talented children and young people.

We have a salary grade and we have a DCC job description but expect the former to be negotiable and the latter to be likely modified and developed and shaped by the successful candidate who will also have the opportunity to immediately recruit their own admin' support officer.

The business manager will have a key role in leadership and governance.

The school has been for sometime now superbly supported by Babcock's finance team and we anticipate them not only being active in the recruitment process but inducting and supporting the successful candidate and bringing not just know-how but a real understanding and insight into how this unique community works.

We are a diverse and inclusive team and community and very proud of it.

We are happy to negotiate hours and any starting date.

To apply, please see the Related Information section on this web page.
Your completed application form should be returned to mmaccourt@barleylane.devon.sch.uk.
