For this role:
You will be working outside on our coastline keeping our beaches and seafront areas clean and safe and performing a range of duties. You will be walking long distances of up to 10 miles a day on various terrain and you must be prepared to work in all weather conditions.
What you'll be doing:
We have a number of exciting opportunities to join our Resorts team as a seasonal Resort Attendant. This position involves emptying litter and dog waste bins, litter picking, plus sweeping and shovelling along the seafronts in a variety of weather conditions. You will also need to support the RNLI lifeguards service in dealing with any incidents and assist with the summer events. Lone working will be a key aspect of the role and you must be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Who we're looking for:
To be successful in this role you will need to be an effective team player and have excellent customer care skills. Previous experience of working with the public and outside and/or manual work is also essential for this role. Lone working will be a key aspect of the role and you must be confident and assertive in your ability to complete your daily tasks. You will need to have a good level of literacy and numeracy for this role.
A normal working week would usually be around 30-37 hours however as a seasonal position the number of hours may vary dependant on the needs of the service and weather conditions. We are looking for someone that is available to work on a shift basis, working weekends and bank holidays.
