True North Youth Worker - Exeter Community Initiatives

True North is a diversionary activity mentoring project for 10-14 year olds identifying as male in the Exeter area. True North mentees will be referred for one of the following reasons: been affected by domestic abuse or been a victim of crime or be displaying challenging behaviour in the home.

Our mentees need a proactive, positive and compassionate Youth Worker who understands that teenage years can be difficult to navigate. You will have a talent for making our mentees realise their potential and talents and find their own solutions to life’s difficulties.

This post is an ideal opportunity to contribute to multi-agency meetings, develop your skill set in terms of working with young people and make a positive difference to the life of a young person.

This post will require you to provide 1:1 mentoring in the evening from Monday to Thursday and about once a month at the weekend at True North group activities.
