The Devon Moors Federation is an established six maintained school federation. It consists of Chittlehampton, Copplestone, Filleigh, Kilmington, Shute and Spreyton Primary Schools. We are also part of the United Schools Learning Partnership Co-operative Trust that we joined in February 2018.
Spreyton Primary School has 27 children on roll and we are looking to appoint a TA to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team as soon as possible. We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work 1 to 1 with a child in KS1 with SEND requirements and to also work with small groups of children across all key stages. You will be required to provide support both in and out of the classroom environment. The role is a job share post and the working hours will be agreed on appointment but you will need to be able to work on a Monday. This role also includes some lunchtime cover. You must have a passion for helping children learn and develop, be able to build good relationships and have good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
This is a fixed post linked to the SEND funding for a child in the school. The post is linked to the continued attendance of the child and their continued funding to meet the SEND needs.
Visits to the school are welcomed. If you would like to visit, please contact the school office on 01647 231321.
The Devon Moors Federation require all applicants to be eligble to work in the UK with no restrictions as we are unable to offer sponsorship/work visas. You will be required to provide proof of Right to Work at interview stage.
