Support Worker Positions – Camphill Devon Buckfastleigh
Join our fantastic team at Camphill Devon. We are a local charity, specialising in supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. We are registered with CQC to provide residential care as well as a Supported Living service. We are currently recruiting various for various positions. Support Workers, 1:1 Support Workers, and Senior Support Workers within our residential setting.

1:1 Residential Support Worker and Residential Support Worker vacancy details:
• Permanent employment
• £11.02 per hour
• Full-time, part time and flexible hours available.
• 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Job openings: 
1:1 Residential Support Worker: 2 Full-time positions 1 part-time position. 
Residential Support Worker: 5 full-time positions. (3 within Merlin House, 2 within Pendragon House)

1:1 Support Worker and Residential Support Worker requirements:
• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
• Good IT skills and experience of using Microsoft packages including Word and Excel
• Ability to provide, where necessary, direct care and support to people we support in their own homes ensuring practice remains person centred at all times 
• Help service users meet their personal care needs sensitively and appropriately to a high standard, including personal hygiene, assistance with laundry, and preparing meals and drinks
• Supporting service users to take any prescribed medicine, complying with all medicine policies, including storage, administering and record keeping
• Enable service users to achieve independence as far as possible in all areas of their life by providing appropriate information, opportunity, training and support
• Help service users to identify and choose their support needs 
• Assist in devising, implementing and reviewing support plans
• Clean driving licences and access to own vehicle

Senior Support Worker vacancy details:
• Permanent employment
• £12.01 per hour or £25,048 per annum
• Full-time, part time and flexible hours available.
• 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays 
• Sleep-in payments
• Pension scheme 
• Employee health and wellbeing service
• Free pool bike scheme
• Free allotment (we are based in a rural location) 
• Free parking

Job openings: 
Senior Support Worker: 1 full-time position (within Merlin House)

Senior Support Worker Requirements:
• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
• Level 3 training in social care or health care work (desirable)
• Good IT skills and experience of using Microsoft packages including Word and Excel
• Ability to provide, where necessary, direct care and support to people we support in their own homes ensuring practice remains person centred at all times 
• Experience of planning and structuring workload and activities
• Able to delegate tasks and monitor to completion
• Able to follow support plans, risk assessments etc. and can actively contribute to the development of plans
• Available to work a shift (rota) system including weekends and evenings
• Available to adopt ‘Responsible Person’ responsibilities (rota system) requiring occasional on-site sleep-in duties.
• Clean driving licences and access to own vehicle
