Devon Wildlife Trust (DWT) is Devon’s leading wildlife conservation charity, with over 36,000 members, 350 regular volunteers, 100 staff and 63 nature reserves. We are one of the larger locally based organisations that collectively make up The Wildlife Trusts. DWT has pioneered the reintroduction of beavers in England and the restoration of internationally rare habitats like Culm Grassland.
We are looking for a Receptionist to join our busy Facilities Team who oversee a wide range of work across the Trust including Operations, ICT, Health & Safety, Procurement and Environmental Management.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing the smooth running of both back office and front of house procedures, supporting the work of the Facilities Team and the wider Trust. You will be a confident speaker who is happy to greet visitors and represent the Trust in a friendly and competent manner. You will apply your organisational skills to the main switchboard and postal system, respond to face to face and email enquiries, place orders, manage stock control and assist with operational paperwork and recording systems. We are looking for a real team player who is equally comfortable working alone and unsupervised for large periods of time.

This post is based at Cricklepit Mill. The working hours are 10am to 3pm with 30 minutes for lunch to cover the Reception opening times.
