We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and dedicated individual to join our school. Getting the right person or people for this role is very important to us - we would therefore welcome applications from people who would like to work full-time and make a real difference to children's lives.
This role involves supporting and covering various classes across the school, as needed, to release teachers or limit the impact of illness. You will need to have good literacy and numeracy skills, as well as the ability to manage children to do their best whilst behaving well. Above all, you need to be able to build a warm and positive relationship with the children, so that they can feel safe and secure in school. A range of other sensible duties may be asked at the discretion of the Headteacher or Deputy; such as booster groups etc if not needed for cover.
School Led Tutoring will be available to the right applicant, payable at Grade G as overtime, until the end of the Summer Term 2022.
A willingness to work as part of a team, as well as taking your own initiative when required, is essential. Experience of working within a school in a similar role would be extremely beneficial, as is particular experience of teaching at various key stages.
The hours are 8.30 – 3.30 (including 55 minute lunch) Monday - Friday, term time only. We would like the successful candidate to start work in January 2022.
Please see the job description and person specification for further details of the post.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
