The Cornerstone Academy Trust is seeking to recruit a dynamic, engaging and successful PR and Marketing professional. The trust is responsible for both Broadclyst and Westclyst Community Primary Schools and soon to be Monkerton Primary School along with its Teaching School. This is an exciting time to join a growing team within the growing academy trust.

The post holder will support the Trust in its communication and PR with parents and other stakeholders, as well as offering support to the work of the Teaching School in the promoting, planning and running of events, courses and conferences. You will liaise with finance staff regarding the billing and collection of attendance fees.

You will have responsibility for content across our numerous websites and monitoring and managing our social media channels as well as assisting in event planning and management, and the design of promotional material. You will need to be, or become, proficient in filming events and blogs, and the editing of such material.

You will be extremely personable with excellent communication skills. Your creative flare will be seen through your design abilities and in the effective use of the written word. You will ideally need to be proficient in the use of the popular social media channels, most Microsoft applications including OneNote, although training can be given. We use a number of other applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, and some Adobe products which you will need to demonstrate experience in, or an aptitude to quickly learn your way around them.

Initially, the post is to work during school term times plus a further 2 weeks, totalling 40 weeks a year.

The salary will start at £16,681 (this will be pro-rated down to reflect term time only working). There is an option of joining the local government pension scheme, benefiting from a cycle to work scheme and a health benefits package, and a performance related bonus system.

Visits to the school are welcome by prior arrangement.
