Pinhoe CE Primary School is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pre School or Nursery Manager, to join our dynamic staff team. You will develop our successful Governor led Pre School, ideally starting in post as soon as possible.
Are you creative, caring and conscientious, with a hard-working and committed approach to your role? Do you have knowledge and experience within the early years framework and are you passionate about teaching preschool aged children? Are you a team player, with experience of managing support staff and shaping curriculum delivery? Can you demonstrate a strong record of positively leading an early years setting by application form and at interview?
Essential qualification criteria for applicants is to be Level 3 qualified as a minimum. It is also essential that you have completed an NVQ 4 or above /equivalent qualification in Management.
It would also be advantageous if you have completed a relevant Level 6 qualification, or are already studying towards this and therefore part qualified at this level. Applicants not qualified at Level 6 should be willing to start this qualification upon commencing in post and should already have an NVQ in Management.
The hours of work are 37 hours per week, term time only, working Monday 08:15am -15:15pm, Tuesday & Wednesday, 08:15am -17:15pm, Thursday 08:15am -15:45pm, Friday 08:15am -15:15pm.
Interested applicants should note that as a term time only position (pupil contact weeks plus attendance at work on all non pupil days), this means 39 weeks of salary is paid in twelve equal payments.
