Required from September 2019, a Senior Administration Officer.

We are looking to appoint a Senior Administration Officer to work in in our school office at St Thomas Primary School, along with our Administration Assistant.  We are a dedicated and positive staff team and all work closely together to ensure the best outcomes for our children.  The Senior Administration Officer will plan and deliver a comprehensive finance and administration service and provide recommendations, advice and support to the school.

We are part of Exeter Learning Academy Trust, together with three other schools: Alphington Primary School, Ide Primary School and Bowhill Primary School.  At the heart of our vision is the belief that we can improve outcomes for all our children by working collaboratively and sharing good and excellent practice.  We expect the successful candidate to make a significant individual contribution to the Trust's development, across the Finance, Human Resources and Premises functions.  The post will be based at St Thomas Primary School but there may be opportunities to work across the schools as the trust grows and develops.

A job description and person specification are included in this advert.  If you think that you possess the necessary qualities, then we would love to hear from you.  Visits to the school are encouraged.  To arrange a time to visit, please call Pauline Woodbridge, Trust Business Manager, 01392 276416.

We are a well-resourced learning environment, with a caring and supportive whole academy community.  We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.

The post offers a brilliant opportunity to work in an exciting, lively city school right in the centre of Exeter.
